What are you doing tomorrow? Weโ€™re meeting ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

What are you doing tomorrow?

Brought to you to inspire, excite and support on cultivating a conscious, slow adventure travel lifestyle in tune with nature. And a little bit of sunshine โ˜€๏ธ.

It has been a while! I've been busy exploring, learning and discovering. For many summers it has been sailing, vanlifing, surfing and hiking. A couple of time I've sailed across the Atlantic to the West Indies. And this summer I made it to the East Indies. Possibly my wildest journey so far. Not by sail, but by a super deep curiosity. The aroma of spices mixed with the aroma of the ocean... I think there's only one place where you can smell this. In INDIA!

For years I've been studying Ayurveda, which has its roots in India. In brief: it's the science of life! A 5,000-year-old natural healing system, all about preventing disease and living with nature, and staying super powered.

It's never the right time or moment to go, but I booked anyway. If not now, then when?

So I spent the summer in Kerala, the land of the coconuts. Pretty much every meal has something coconutty in it. How amazing!! I settled into one of the oldest Ayurveda centres of India, for the treatments I had so far only been reading about. And I studied with Ayurvedic Doctors to deepening my knowledge on living with and from nature. I can now call myself an Ayurveda Wellness Instructor ๐Ÿง™ Super excited to translate the wisdoms into tips & tricks for western explorers with the elements for sustainable nomadic living and staying superpowered in the journey.

It has been months of waking up to prayer sounds and temple bells. Eating with my hands (isn't it the most natural thing?). Coconuts, coconuts and coconuts, and just lots of wandering and exploring. I really feel best when exploring new corners and things! Another home added to my world.

Soo many stories have piled up. The jungle, the treatments, the spice trail discoveries, the tiger. Some of them I've shared on Patreon. Soon more on the youtube.

But first, a real life meet-up & story share!

Tomorrow I'm telling some of them live at an Ocean Nomads meetup in the Netherlands (Almere on SV Windfall - RSVP). May you be near, come meet with 'the others' living wild unconventional lifestyles. This is a free event for Ocean Nomads Members.

Reading this too late or somewhere where? Lot's more tips, tales and trips on the horizon. The Ayurveda journey, jungle tales ๐Ÿ…, coconut dishes ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅฅ, solo female India travel or the spice trail discoveries.

The wildest one this winter: we'll be sailing around the Atlantic Ocean again with SV Twister! 8 legs, different wild factors, bringing together (aspiring) ocean lifestyles designers at sea.

And yes, the van is still home. Almost seven years now! Wild eh? Next week I'm moving back into the nomadmachine which I left somewhere in Spain. Let's see if she's still going strong! ๐ŸšŒ Vanlife stories & Essentialsโ€‹

โ€‹Sail the Atlanticโ€‹

Sailing oceans: One of the most life-changing humbling experiences I've ever done (5 times across the Atlantic๐Ÿ™Š) Upcoming winter we're sailing across the Atlantic again uniting Ocean Nomads at sea, and you can join!

Some are experienced sailors. Some are still figuring it out. Some are dreaming about making the ocean their home. If you've been pondering... "hmm, is there another way?" Yes there is! You just got to say YES to it.

โ€‹Here's the Plan & Application โ›ต (Spots are going fast!)

โ€‹Film about last Atlantic Crossing ๐ŸŽฅ

I may join some parts of it too, with you? :) Around New Year in Cape Verde we'll have the biggest Ocean Nomads gathering to date. Early 2027 we sail out together with an Atlantic Kitesurf Mission!

Thank you for joining this newsletter! ๐Ÿฅฐ I hope it inspires you to explore nature, in one way or the other. Whether you found this newssplash last week or years ago, it means a lot.

Stay wild,
Suzanne
