Adventure Stories for the Holidays 🎥

Love, sunshine and some adventure inspiration for the holidays! Whether you 'do holidays', or find yourself somewhere wild like me, I hope you are well and take some time to rest, reflect and calm down, as winter intends.

I'm here writing this from my van on the island of Gran Canaria. We just got back from hiking across the island (Wowww so pretty!). Xmas here means relaxing, reflecting and catching up with a dear Ocean Nomads friend who had the same plan as us. No presents. No crazy dinner feasts. I made one of my favourite dishes: Palak paneer. In good company. Simple, wild and free, in nature.

The darker days are great to read, watch, and dream a little more. A moment to gather inspiration for future adventures and lifestyle changes.

Below you’ll find some of my most-loved adventure story videos from this year. I hope you enjoy them 🎥✨

12 Days on Foot in the Jungle

This is probably the most special hike I've ever done: The Waitukubuli National Trail! Across the Tropical Island of Dominica. We just got invited to present this film at a film festival! How cool is that.

Stay Curious! Stay Wild!

And take it easy with the food festivities ;)
My go to (ayurveda- approved) tea blend to stay grounded, warm and keep the digestion healthy:

🍵 Chai!
Here's a simple recipe. In the mix: fennel, coriander, cumin, fresh ginger, cardamom, and a little cinnamon. Boil it for 10–15 minutes. Perfect after meals or to bring on your next hike:)
